Hi Graeme,

Suggest try motorsport outlets for the material. Do you know the spec you need, eg pre-preg or impregnated etc, there are various types
If you can then draw up the panel I can get most of it waterjet cut for you.

Some composites can delaminate if trying to cut smaller holes, but anything above about 20mm shouldn't be a problem and we can test before cutting.

Cheers

Gavin

P.S. Just found this site, the pre-preg seems the way forward. Pricey, but class way forward depending upon your aircraft

Hi Graeme,

I have just finished my Instrument panel with CarbonFibre. It looks Fantastic. I made a one piece panel out of Aluminium, but thinner than you would normally have and then bonded a sheet of this Carbon Veneer on the front. If you cut all the holes out of the aluminium first them bond it, it is easier to cut the carbon out from the back to mach the ali.
I got my carbon from this place;

Hope this help I would have posted a photo but I don't think it's possible....
Best of luck

Oh yes it is :lol:

You do need to be able to upload your piccy to somewhere on the net though, and use the Img tags to point to it. For example Photobucket or a web host
