Anyone having difficulties with new style oil filter on a Rotax 912s engine?
Changed filter recently. First problem with length of body causing proximity issues to exhaust. Secondly, thread pitch feels overly tight. Reluctently resorted to spare old style filter temporarilly pending replacement of new model.
Hopefully, i got a one off duff unit. I would not want to force the threads when i need to replace filter in future.
