Brugger Colibri electric start

Post by Jim Hargrave » Wed May 11, 2011 11:58 am

Does anyone know whether you can fit an electric start system in with the VW set-up on a Brugger Colibri?

I'm looking at a possible project but don't want hand start as I had on my Turbulent way back when...

Don't know about the ins and outs of fitting an electric start to this installation, but if it turns out not to be simple, then you could consider fitting a Leburg ignition: I can now start our thus-equipped VW first swing on a good day, and second swing if not!
