It might be a daft question but here goes! the leading edge fabric on the Sluka wing is bonded to main wing fabric and there is a lightweight zig zag stitch over the bond joint is the stitching a vital component of the bonded joint or is it stitch used purely to secure the joint in the bonding process. the reason I ask is that some of this stitching in small areas has come undone by a stitch or two in some areas along this bonded joint. Is there a repair program that can be adopted for this problem. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

I see the stitching as "doubling up" on the bond line to give it that extra bit of reinforcement. You have to be extra careful when fitting the fibre glass leading edge former into the pocket as this can act like a knife.
I would do a Betts test on the stitching to check for deterioration. If it is OK do the repair by hand but extend your stitching to overlap the defective bits by at least 40mm either side. As always, a quick ring to check with your inspector before proceeding.
