Prekote Surface Pretreatment

Post by Richard Moore » Sun Dec 25, 2011 7:32 pm

Anyone used PreKote surface pretreatment? I like what I've read about it but wonder which primer to use. I plan to use a two part acrylic topcoat applied by roller.

Looks as though minimum quantity may well be 5 litres. Otherwise it would be very useful stuff for the many small metal fittings in my project.
I'm using an effective 2 pack etch primer from LAS, but this is nasty stuff and needs spraying to achieve a decent finish, so is always a fiddle in my primitive workshop, especially when you need to prime the odd few items to stop them corroding.
I might enquire the price of 5 litres but expect it will be prohibitive for my needs.
