12v fuel pump and gascolator guidance

Post by Bill Scott » Mon Sep 24, 2012 8:10 pm

Can anyone point me toward the following information on the LAA website:

1. Guidance on requirements for fitting and wiring of a facet 12v fuel pump
2. Acceptable /non acceptable locations for fitting a gascolator

(Aircraft is a Rans S6 tail dragger with a single fuselage fuel tank immediately behind the cockpit.)

Thanks :?

Place near and below the tank so it self primes , this will reduce any chance of vapour lock as it wont have to suck. 5 Amp curcuit breaker will cover the power and use a dedicated earth return to the battery.
