Falconer v12

Whilst I would not expect it to be quickly accepted to the LAA, what are the realistic chances of getting this engine accepted by the LAA given reasonable time and ( my) finances ? what are the current max HP limitations ? are they flexible ?

The limit for LAA permit aircraft is 260hp, after which it will require a CAA permit. The CAA can delegate the LAA to do the work for them, as don't think they are capable of doing themselves now.

IIRC the Falconer v12 is in excess of 600hp, so you would need a serious amount of supporting design paperwork to get an aircraft flying with this engine in the UK. It would be a tough ride, but if you have the skill-set or money to do it anything is possible.
