Airspace

Post by ROB THOMASSON » Fri Apr 05, 2013 8:31 am

Anyone who flies in the South East will know Southend are putting in for a huge zone that will be a pain for VFR flights When they had an advisory area before the Olympics it was 3 times the area of Heathrow's for around 2% of the traffic!
So why don't we petition that airports have to pay the government for the airpspace they have? All of a sudden we will find that the "essential" airspace they "have to have" will shrink dramatically. After all they have to pay for the radio channels they use so why not?

Be careful. The next stage would be that we end up paying for CAS transits
