Taller seats / headrests for safety.

In the light of the article in the latest Light Aviation mag, has anybody fitted taller seat backs or headrests to their aircraft?
I'm primarily considering the RV, but it would be interesting to hear about others. I considered them in my previous plane, a Luscombe, but didn't get any further.
BTW, I've done the seat foam thing already and can heartily recommend it, but you need 3 'standard' pads to do the seats in an RV6 as they are quite long. Does leave some over to redo a booster cushion though.
If you read up on the details of the fancy foam as applied to gliders it does say that ALL cushions should be made of it as putting a normal foam booster one in as an addition to the impact absorbing one completely negates the benefits.
