LAA Engineering Course Info?
Can we gently nudge whoever is responsible, to add some details (dates, syllabus, cost, timetable etc.) to the LAA course information page? They were promised for Sywell.
One or two course are starting relatively soon, and it would help to make plans in advance.....
Thanks

Soon?
I thought the courses had been postponed until April 2014?
Costs and Syllabus won't be a lot different from that on the LAA website. Apart from the newer stress courses(which have already run), the others have a clickable link to a pdf.
I would not expect to see the dates fixed until early next year. I would guess that it will be the week before the Uni term kicks off after Easter.

Well, there's a Rotax course, rumoured to be starting 9th November, for instance.
I can see the mooted course list, but nothing clickable, and no syllabi (?). Am I going to the wrong page or website? Training and Education / Courses via the home page on this website?

Sorry Richard, I jumped to the conclusion you were talking about the Coventry Uni Courses.

Has anyone done the welding course ?
I wonder if it covers tig and oxy as this seems to be a hard first decision to make on a tube project.
Ian.

Re: LAA Engineering Course Info?
Apologies for the fact that the website hasn't been updated re courses, we'll get on to that. Currently arranged courses are usually announced in Light Aviation, and to date we have a Rotax course on November 9 and Aluminium courses on November 2 and 3. A woodwork course has been arranged for November 11.
As new courses are arranged they will be announced in the magazine and put up on the website.
The welding courses are one to one and can be gas, tig or mig depending on what you want to do. They are run by Robin James and can be organised directly with him on: 01568 612 800.
