VW mechanical fuel pumps

Post by MRWalters » Mon Jan 05, 2015 9:42 pm

I am finishing off the build of a Colibri with an 1835 VW engine (which has been converted to accept a side mounted fuel pump).

If possible I would like to get a fuel pump which is internally threaded on the inlet and outlet connections (to enable me to fit compact elbows).

If anyone knows where I could get such a pump (or has one to sell) - I'd be very grateful for any information.

Martin - can't help with the fuel pump but how did you get on with the Colibri build. Is it a one piece wing spar.

Bill.

Bill

I bought the Colibri as a part finished Project. The airframe and wings were done and I have nearly completed the engine installation.
It has the removable wings (Perkins Mod).
There have been some headaches - but I think the end is (hopefully) in sight!
