Does anyone where I can get some round hard rubber extrusion to make some bushings for a suspension?

You could look for some existing bushings as mentioned, but from cars.
For example, I know Morris Minors use bushings in their suspensions that are very cheap and easily available from the many MM specialists. They are about 20mm OD, 8mm ID and around 25-30 mm long. They have a flange at one end (approx 25mm OD), which may or may not be of use...

Try these guys, they've done a lot of work on my restoration of a SIPA in respect of brakes, suspension etc. I don't know where you are based, but it's worth a phone call.

As Rob says lots of classic motor cars are a rich source.
Many 1960/70s Vauxhall motors had suspension bushes of an inner and outer steel sleeve with nylon or rubber inserts.
It might be worth visiting classic car flea markets
