Avid Speedwing Fuel Tank

Post by Simon Handley » Sat Aug 22, 2015 8:47 pm

Any Avid or Kitfox owners out there who have replaced a wing tank, repaired one then sealed it with a propriety sealant or inserted ethanol resistant tanks within the original fibreglass tanks by cutting them open?
Just want to find out what method was used, how easy/hard it was and where the items/parts were sourced from to carry out the work.
I have very small leak which I'm guessing is ethanol related :( .
If anyone has a 60L left hand wing tank please let me know as well.
