Can anyone out there tell me what is the difference if any between Rotax 582 Blue Top and grey top
Yes, earlier greys had a weeker crank but later ones had the 618 crank as per the Blue tops, also there is a diffrence in the cooling system .
The greys had one stat and the Blues have two ( that open at diffrent temps to avoid shock cooling ) with the extra one in the water pump and an extra hose running round the Mag end to the cylinder head stat housing.
