2014 Aluminium

Hi,

I need to find a supplier for 2014 T651 aluminium in 0.25" and 0.19" thicknesses. Probably about 18" x 12" of the 1/4" annd a bit less of the latter.

Can anyone point me at a supplier?

I went round the 2014 houses with the Menestrel and end up changing (with LAA Engineering blessing) to 2024T3. Might be worth looking at that option as Aircraft Spruce do 1/4" and smaller.

Hi Tony,

Yes, that is much easier to source, sadly not suitable for this though.

[Correction: I suspect that the data I have been using for comparing the two is wrong in respect of 2024 and it may be acceptable after all.]
