Propellers

Post by C Rule » Fri Apr 08, 2016 7:28 pm

I am getting confused
I am thinking of changing the prop on our RV6 from the very fine CL 70X68 to maybe a Hercules.
When i consult the PTL/1 list for the RV6 the only props on that list are metal Sensenich ones. yet there are many ^ in this country flying with wooden props. Am I missing something?
Does this mean that to change from one wooden prop to another I need to go through the mod application process?

Hi,

The lists are out of date, the RV6 one was of 2011 vintage.

Read this:

http://www.lightaircraftassociation.co. ... Engine.pdf

That seems to explain the process.
