Hi
Noticed a slight bit of fabric damage on the Champ wingtip and being new to ceconite coverings would appreciate some advice on best way to repair this.

First clean the paint off about 3" all around the damaged fabric and the silver which should be under the paint. Glue the damaged fabric back as best you can trying to get it smooth using clear dope, then give it a couple of coats of dope. Sand the edges smooth and put a piece of 3" or 4" pinked tape over the damaged area depending on what it needs. then about 3 coats of clear dope followed by 3 coats of the silver. then paint to match existing. Trouble is you cant buy small quantities of any of the above so I would ask around at the club or strut to see if anyone has any spare.
Hope this helps.
