Has anyone had adverse reactions if they spill mogas when refilling? We've had problems on a friends aircraft around the filler cap area due to fuel spillage. The other wing has no problems as he uses avgas that side. We tried a good clean, a rough up with a wire brush and fresh cellulose. This was then backed up with 3 cotes of butyrate but over the summer it's reacted again. The fabric looks fine and as far as we can tell the clear dope is OK.
Any fixes out there guys?
