Does anyone know of a builders group in the UK or at least anyone who has built one?
Thank you.
Charles.

There's a fairly active Midget Mustang builders group over at Yahoo Groups, a few members of which are based in the UK.

I'm building one from plans. Its an interesting project requiring a good range of metal-working and other skills.
The plans from Mustang Aero leaved quite a lot to be interpreted (even if you buy a kit from them). It's not a seven-day flat-pack assembly job!!!
I've been working on mine for over five years and I doubt if I've reached the proverbial 90% done - 90% left to do point. There is a reasonable amount of info to be found on the internet including a Yahoo Builders group and some builders blogs. If I can help with more info PM me.

Charles,

You might want to have a look at this if you're considering building a Midget Mustang. This is Jim Harter's Midget Mustang build project that he's been posting the progress of online for a few years. It's not entirely to the plans but it gives a very good idea of what's involved in building a Midget Mustang, it's of its time and not an RV type kit.
