RV-7 Flap switch on control stick

Is it permissible to control the flaps on a rv-7 from the control stick?

There are many RVs with jet fighter style stick grips with multiple switches, so someone has probably done it.

But why would you? On the panel within easy reach of the throttle is probably best. (Now that's inviting some flack).

Just to the left of the throttle - fits the thumb perfectly.

Frankie doesn't like HOTAS
