Auster Spinners

Post by ROB. THOMASSON » Sat Jul 15, 2017 7:09 pm

I have a brand new Auster spinner for the Fairey Read type prop. These come in two parts and the front skull type section is prone to failure. Before I fit it I was thinking of taking a mould of the front section so it would be possible to make a new one in either grp or carbon fibre. Before I do so would people let me know if they have need of such.
If not I'll do the mould in plaster of paris rather than grp but this would be for a one off spare rather than for multiple ones.
