Instrument Repairs

Post by Ken Fern » Mon Sep 04, 2017 9:17 am

Can anyone recommend a good instrument repairer please. I am working on the panel on Comet RCSR and have a number of original instruments from the 30's which need checking and overhauling. I have tried to contact Bruce Irvine who used to do them but think he has stopped now.
Any suggestions please where it wont cost the earth.
Have tried to post a pic of the panel but cant sorry.
Thanks
Ken

Ken,

You could give Mike Hutchinson (Aircraft Instrument Repairs) at Shobdon a call. He attended to an ASI of mine last year. His phone number is 01568 708368.

John.
