Permit Aircraft

Post by Melvis » Wed Oct 18, 2017 11:13 am

Hello All.
We have just sold our Cessna 150L which I shared with another pilot.
Due to work commitment the other pilot cannot justify a share in another aircraft.
I am now left on my own and to cut costs of ownership am looking to buy a share in a permit aircraft.
Being a newby to the LLA I am asking fellow members if they can suggest a suitable 2 seater aircraft on permit that will fit a reasonably agile 73 year old 16stone 6'1 pilot. Preferably an all metal microlight due to fuel burn but would consider GA. I know of the Jodel, Zenair and Europa, the Zenair was difficult for me to get in and out of and did not have sufficient legroom.
Any suggestions guys.

Inter alia:-

Rans S6, plentiful and roomy built for large Americans ! Or the Light a/c S6-116 which I think is far nicer to fly.
