Slick magneto ignition harness
The one of the leads near the spark plug on the ignition harness on my 0-200 is looking rather suspect with the braid having all but disintegrated and core looking rather flimsy . Is there a way/place/company I can re-terminate the end or do you have to bite the bullet and replace all four.

I think Aircraft Spruce has the individual parts but you need a special tool.
No doubt the tool costs more than a new harness assembly...

Give your inspector a ring Tim. He does bugger all during the day. Failing that, might I suggest getting in touch with your local Pilot Coach who just might know where there is a harness not too far from your hangar.

I know someone in USA who could do what you want, and has the tool, but expect postage costs will make that approach uneconomical.
Alternatively, try call Graham Keele on 01264-860056. He doesn't have the tool but has some new Slick harnesses that may be of use.
