Flying after permit/annual expiry

Post by PD47 » Sun Feb 25, 2018 9:08 am

My apologies as I suspect this is documented elsewhere but can you fly a permit aircraft to a location on a one off basis for the purposes of conducting the annual inspection/renewal?
Many thanks

You would probably need at least a part inspection and that would require the sanction of the LAA.
I had to fly to France to do inspect a cub prior to it being flown back to the UK.

Ask Malcolm Mcbride for advice.

You would probably require a written authorisation from the LAA for a one off flight. They may require that any MPD's that are due be done before the flight.
