Robin R2160

Hi All,
I'm currently a share holder of a Robin R2160. Whilst in maintenance it has been noticed that the undercarriage legs are odd. The port appears original with the starboard being a later version with the number292 stamped on it. Does anyone know what the 292 might signify ie perhaps a build number off the original aircraft.
Any thoughts?
