Monoplane tyres

Post by Paul Turner » Wed Sep 18, 2019 4:47 pm

Hi, need to source new tyres/tubes for a Taylor Mono 4.10/3.50-5. I seem to be in mobility scooter territory! I'm sure these wheels aren't unique so.....
-do I need a minimum of 6 ply or will 4 ply be good enough?
-any suggestions on suppliers?
Any steer appreciated
Paul

Hi Paul, my Jodel had 8.00 x 4.00 (ish) wheel-barrow sized wheels and I used what were called High Speed trailer tyres, and they were only 4 ply.
