Vortex Generators - on the scrounge

Post by Bodmin » Fri Jan 31, 2020 2:38 pm

Hi - first post on here. I'm an Autogyro owner & pilot.

I'm on the scourge for a few vortex generators for an experiment.

I own a replica Jaguar SS100 and have problems with the clip on perspex wind deflectors at each end of the windscreen. They flutter at anything over 40 mph, so much in fact that one of them fell off after wearing out the mounting.

It occurred to me to try a few vortex generators along the rear edge of the wind deflectors. I went to a model shop yesterday and bought some T section plastic with a view to making a few.

It occurred to me that some LLA members may have some surplus which I would be happy to purchase and pay P & P of course.

If anyone can help I would be grateful to hear from them.

Many thanks.
Michael Taylor
