Hi, can you do your own welding to make a part if the item being welded is non structural.

What are the rules regarding welding. I'm an experienced welder of some 40 years now.

Best e-mail LAA engineering for a definitive answer however I would suggest it would likely be okay for non critical/non-structural parts.
