I am fitting the new firewall to a Jodel 1050 as part of a Rotax 914 installation. I am wondering if I should keep
certain types of electric cable separate from the others. For example,
should the ignition earth wires have their own pass though (even though
they will be shielded cables) or can they be grouped with the main power
cable to the bus bar. What about the MGL data wires - which I may
install in the future? I am wanting avoid interference
getting into the intercom system!
The original Continental O-200 set up was for magneto earth cables on one side and all the rest together through a different conduit.
Thanks
William

William,
Good electrical/electronic engineering practice would be to keep ignition wires separate from data and 12V power cables where ever possible.

Hello Luscombe,
Your post does beg the question as to why you are placing a Rotax in a French classic 1050?
