Epoxy varnish

I'm no longer able to buy my favoured epoxy varnish, solvent based Gurit Eposeal 300, which has been discontinued in favour of Amproseal, which is less hazardous.
Apart from being more expensive, Amproseal would probably be a bit less inclined to soak into the wood, which is a useful feature of the Eposeal.
I'm by no means sure about this though and wonder if anyone has used Amproseal or could recommend an alternative that would behave more like Eposeal.
Any advice appreciated.
