Desperate Need of Jodel U/C part

Post by MatthewC » Tue Sep 21, 2021 5:27 pm

I have a lovely Minicab which uses an old-style "teardrop" Jodel D112/117 undercarriage. In fact it is greatly modified to fit the Minicab so I cannot easily fit any other Jodel undercarriage, but the part I need should be the same, provided it is a teardrop, not double pointed. The part is the lower guide from the upper body of the shock absorber assembly. This is an aluminium casting (I think) and it is cracked - there's a picture on https://groups.io/g/JodelAircraft/topic ... 7/85672390. The majority of inspectors/licensed engineers who I have consulted say that it is NOT weldable.

I have tried the Jodel group at https://groups.io/g/JodelAircraft/topics, avions-Jodel (via eBay.fr), Sandalwood and all the other usual places online without success.

So, please, does anyone have such an item in a drawer or on a shelf in their workshop? I will even buy a complete leg just to have this part...

That picture is "locked out" so (for me) I can't see what you are talking about.
Why not download the picture to something more user-friendly (like Dropbox? Or your own webspace) and then re-post the image.
