TUBULAR FERRULES IN STEEL PLATES "TOOLING"?

Hi

I'm looking for advice on the best way to fit tubular ferrules into holes in steel plates, and suggestions for suitable tooling "punches/press tool design".
It's for the various fuselage etc fittings where the hard bracing "piano wire" is attached through holes in the plates etc on a Sopwith Snipe repro.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheer's
Bob.

If I understand your requirements - the Boredom Fighter uses "Bleriot" type ferrules - brake line/ Bundy steel tubing in short lengths, with each end swaged into a smooth bell shape using a vise and a pair of suitable small home made turned steel formers, housed in hefty ply guides. Not easy to describe and I was skeptical at first, but they seem to work very well.
