I am installing a Trig TN72 GPS to as Trig TT31 transponder for a friend.
I need to remove one Molex crimp from the TT31 connector and add one wire with a Molex crimp pin attached.
Can anyone assist?
Do you have a Molex extractor tool I can borrow for a few days, or know where to get one?
Also do you have a crimp tool?
Wire only needs to be 22 gauge and about 14" long. I have the crimp pins.

Tony I bought this set of tools from Amazon for less than a fiver. Very useful, there is bound to be one of the keys that will fit your Molex pins.

I thought the Trig units used Dsub connectors, not Molex.

Anyway, I have the crimp tools and pins for both and an assortment of pin extractors.

I'd rather not mail them, but can make them available to borrow from home (S.Warwickshire) or airfield (Enstone).

So did I!
The Trig TT31 uses Molex connectors as it was designed to functionally replace the popular KT76A, KT76C and KT78A, range of transponders.
Thanks for your kind offer but I think I now have the correct pin extractor tool - time will tell!
