Hi
Apologies for an obvious question. The thing is it's just never come up before.
Usually our group member who handles the mechanical issues, promptly does the 50hr check and oil change. At the moment he's off ill.
So my question is how precisely on or within 50hrs does the check/oil change need to be done to avoid invalidating anything?
Obviously it's common sense to do it promptly but even the TBO gets a 10% margin as I recall (and that's without running on condition).
Thanks in advance
Will

Re: 50hr Check
Probably best to talk to your Inspector.

Re: 50hr Check
Oil changes are the cheapest maintenance that you can carry out on your engine.
Do it now!
Regarding the other things that are done for your 50 hr check:
Probably a good oil and lube all around
Check for any mandatory inspections or Service Bulletins
Look at last year's permit renewal work sheets to see what was done.
