RV9A nose leg failures

I have been trying to find the general area of insipient failure of the nose leg socket support structure, and any relevant repair schemes.

I have a repair scheme submitted the area involved is the tube at the bottom of the port lower engine mount gusset where the tube has a crack.

The STBD tube is OK, but the top of that gusset has a small crack. Curiously the return angle of STBD gusset tube is not welded to the tube. The port one is ?

Any info would be appreciated
