Amngst the restorers here, has anyone registered with HMCR as an End User when importing chunks of aeroplane?
I shall inevitably be buying some large, non-secretable bits to get the Champ rebuilt and wonder if this is a useful route.

Hi Nic. I've pm'd you the phone number of an Aeronca rebuilder who I believe used an end-user certificate.

If you are only an occasional importer, you're probably better off using the simplified procedure.
You can download form C100 from the HMRC and use it when clearing your consignment once it has arrived in the UK.
