Some of us are still lurking. Chicken and egg with forum traffic, perhaps: the most active ones attract more people, but don't get active without a fair number of people.

I imagine a good number of LAA members also read other magazines, belong to another forum or two and probably get everything there except LAA specific stuff (wherever there may be). A good number probably don't have time or inclination to 'do the internet thing' as a friend put it.

I have to remind myself also that not everyone is as obsessed by flying as I am and that not everyone can spend off-duty time either flying or talking/thinking/writing about flying.

If it's any consolation, the website forum of the self-proclaimed most sold* flying organ in the country seems to be all but stillborn.

* I could be wrong, but it's something like that.

Seriously? I have to take it seriously? :o
All I got for trying to be a responsible, caring citizen for years and years and worrying about the state of the world etc etc was a very wrinkly me.

Flying hasn't removed any wrinkles (and has possibly added a few) but inside I'm 17 still and regressing nicely.

Well, my excuses are, my strip is like a mud wrestling pit, and whats more I'm skint. Nonetheless, I will certainly be around when the runway is firm.
It does seem like its been a very long wet boring winter, but the clocks go forward on Sunday, so everything will be ok, provided Petrol does'nt go over £50 per litre!!

[anyone know why a bee can fly with such a large body and those tiny wings, cause ~'m sure that engineering would refuse its deswign.]

Sorry if off topic here but just can not resist.

The bee has no problems with engineering as it is sub 115kgs

John,

Can you pm what was censored? The fact that it has been censored makes it all the more interesting & I bet it is not just me that would like to know!

JC is responsible for editing the post at the top of this page to say "Post Censored".

His original post had two paragraphs, the first created no problems. The second was of a nature that I, and a few other users, found objectionable on a public forum. Therefore, I deleted the paragraph and sent a PM to him explaining what I had done and why. He then decided to delete the first paragraph and replace it with the present words.
