If you have a light plane and feel like doing your bit to help rescue stranded travelers, then have a look at http://dunkirkspirit.ning.com - this is a good opportunity for GA and the wider community to interact, and for us all to get some positive press for light aircraft & have some fun at the same time...

Looks like our european colleagues in the national regulators are seeing sense and opening up their airspace again, France, Switzerland and Czech Republic now are reopened after initial excercises of overcaution.

Not sure how the authorities would look on this. Just the small mattter of hire and reward, who is paying the expenses?
