If you have overnighted at the Aviator how would you rate it on an ascending scale of 1-10 please?

If you are coming by car there are numerous options stating at J15 of M1 to Sywell The next nearest is the "World End" Ecton So named as it is an ancient Inn and used as a field hospital after the Battle of Naseby 1645 and for most taken there it was the end of their world.
Others
Westone hotel
Premier Inn Gt Billing
Premier Inn Bedford Road
Holiday Inn Bedford Road
Mariott Brackmills
Premier Inn Nothampton South (Queen Eleanor)
Toby Inn (East Hunsbury)(Innkeepers Lodge)
Hilton
Holiday Inn Express at J15
This is in distance order from Sywell
If you want to a bit more comfort and need a gym then the Marriot and the Hilton are for you.
Impress the wife with a lovely old Inn in the surrounds of Castle Ashby House then Try the Falcon at Castle Ashby.
Along the A45 on the edge of Wellingborough are more hotels.

You may be right in your allegations, Bob F. Last year when I told Peter Harvey we had a room at the Aviator, he was most surprised and asked how I'd got that! We had stayed there for the Sywell Revival the year before, and knew it was good value and very handy, so booked as soon as we knew it was happening.
We're now staying at a B&B nearby for this year's Rally.

Well I've been to the Aviator and have to agree with everyone that it is great. Clean, efficient and reasonably priced. The weekend rate to include breakfast is a far better deal than a Premier Inn.
However watch out for the catch if you are on a limited budget.
The impose a mandatory £100 deposit in case you scoot off without paying your food or bar bill. (They are well experienced in aviation matters !!!!! )
You do get it back on check-out, in fact it is nothing more than a holding deposit.
As this is on my route to East Anglia I shall use it every time I go to Norwich.
