PM system

Can anybody tell me why PM's that I type up and send get stuck in my outbox, nothing seems to enable them to be sent??.

Your PM's go into your outbox and only when they are read by the recipient do they move to the sent box. Hope that makes sense.

Well I can sort of see what you mean, goes against the normal e mail/message system conventions, you normally get it to the outbox at which point it is sent and transferred to the sent box.

Anyway that as might be, I have sent two to a fellow LAA member who was expecting responses only to not get notification that they had messages waiting for them, therefore I guess my question is, is the system working reliably????

Are his email address details correct in his forum account settings?

It could be sending the notification to the wrong address.

Or is his SPAM filter intercepting them?

I think that I was one of the people you couldn't get though to?

I have checked my settings and all is correct.Try again with a test message.
