Small hangar/storage space in East of England?

Post by cluttonfred » Wed Jul 29, 2015 6:28 am

Fellow LAA members, help!

I am seeking to become the proud owner of my first airplane, a homebuilt, with one little hiccup--it's in England and I am currently in Kenya.

So I am looking for affordable, safe storage for a small, single-seat homebuilt with folding wings (I bet you can guess the type) for 6-12 months on an airfield or secure off-airport location until I can sort out what country I'll be in starting next summer.

The folded footprint is only about 16' x 5' with the horizontal surfaces removed, so this would fit easily into the corner of a hangar to share space with another aircraft.

Anyone have any leads or suggestions? Please e-mail me directly at cluttonfred (that special symbol goes here) me (a full stop goes here) com if you do, no need to clog up the group.

Cheers,

Matthew

Thanks, all, for the messages. I believe that I have found a home for my newly-purchased Clutton FRED G-BMSL at Nayland Airfield in Suffolk. Thanks Andy and Tony for your help!
