8.33hz radios

Just received EGU newsletter near the end of which is a section and I quote;

"We have been informed that UK, Sweden, Finland and maybe Denmark and Norway will file an "article 14.4 exemption" to retain some frequencies as 25kHz for a limited time after 2018"

Maybe we will at least be able to leave existing 25kHz radios installed a little while longer than originally thought.

Well spotted Nigel.
Although I somehow doubt whether it will alter the requirement for us having VHF sets with 8.33Khz bandwidth spacing though .

Although, having said that, I will still be waiting until Dec31st 2017 before I make any changes.

Well fortunately I will only be removing COM 2 when forced, so a single failure will make my a/c non-radio, ridiculous but Brussels knows best.
