Aircraft Sale/Purchase agreement

Post by GrahamGRG » Thu Aug 25, 2016 3:42 pm

Hi

In the process of buying first aircraft (Sportcruiser) and hoping to get some advice/suggestions on typical Sale/Purchase agreements that others have used in the past. The transaction will be between two individuals so want to keep it simple while including all the essentials.

Thanks in advance

I bought my aircraft.

The document was

I hereby agree to pay £XXXXX for aircraft G-XXXX.
Signed

Received £XXXXX for aircraft G-XXXX.
Thanks
Signed

Unless you are expecting to get some sort of guarantee with the aircraft, I'm not sure a more complex one would exist.

p.s. I was also involved in the group purchase of a Cessna 182 from an aircraft sales company which was a different matter all together.

There is a comprehensive agreement format available from AOPA USA. Mutatis mutantis.
