At the recent Sywell Rally there was a rebuilt Walter Mikron on display in one of the tents. I would like to make contact with the owner/restorer. Does anyone know the name and contact details please?

Hi,

That was Rupert Hibberd who is restoring a Currie Wot, I'll send you a message with his contact details.

I have a Mikron too.

Regards,

Colin

Thanks Colin that's very helpful. The interest is because I have just become the owner of a low hours but stored Mikron and will need to explore the options to ensure its airworthy in the future. Will PM you later. Richard

You might want to also make contact with LAA Inspector David Beale, he's also a Walter Mikron guru!
