Update on the trip to Oshkosh 2022

Post by Steve Slater » Tue Feb 01, 2022 1:58 pm

Hi, this is to provide some feedback information on the LAA trip to Oshkosh this year.

From the original expectation of 10 - 20 people we have dealt with around 100 applications. We managed to secure arrangements for over 50 people to come this year.

We're sorry if you couldn't be included this time, but if you wished to arrange for your own travel to the event, please let us know if you want to be included in all social events and messaging / information while we are at Oshkosh. Many people have said this is a 'bucket list' item and this is a way to fulfill it as part of a party instead of going alone.

Good News
We are very likely to repeat this exercise next year, starting earlier with a plan, the time and space to include everyone who can commit to the trip. If there is a greater demand than places available, consideration will be given to members who were unsuccessful this time.

Regards,
LAA / Trip planning team

Hi, I'm already booked on the Ian Allan Oshkosh trip and will be pleased if I can be added to the LAA Oshkosh messaging/info list, hopefully to meet up there.
