Flying in France with a NPPL SSEA and a self declaration medical

Post by davidmor » Tue Feb 25, 2025 12:35 pm

Hi all, I have just converted from a PPL M licence to an NPPL SSEA . I have a pilot medical declaration that expires when i'm 70 .
I am hoping to tour my newly acquired Bristell NG5 in France and possibly return via the channel islands in the summer.

Does anyone know if I can fly in French airspace and the Channel Islands with my NNPL SSEA ? From what I have read there could be an issue with my medical self declaration as its only for the UK . If this is the case does anyone know what I could do to allow me to Fly in France? Do I need to consider a different kind of medical?

Regards

You will probably get an answer if you post your query on the Flyer forum...
