Owners learning in their own aircraft insurance

Post by jangiolini » Mon Apr 14, 2025 5:33 pm

Hi folks what's the situation with owners learning in their own aircraft specifically insurance! Has anyone gone this route and ifso who was the insurance company. Trafford is not prepared to cover my colleague!
I am sure this has been covered before but I can't find the article.
Thanks

Fire up the Visicover website and do some what if scenarios. My son joined me on one of my planes and it wasn’t crazy money. Having other qualified and experienced pilots should help the price. A few years later he took the policy and now I’m named.
