Having been to an excellent Classic Motorbike Show at Stafford Showground last weekend, I am more than ever convinced that it would be an ideal site for an Aircraft and Microlight expo such as Splash. Stafford has slick organization, good motorway communications, fine facilities, free on-site parking, and masses of exhibition space inside and out.
(There are even fields adjoining the showground which might one day be a runway; not to mention nearby Hixon, which really ought to become Staffordshire Aerodrome!)
This winter, I will probably go to Splash at the NEC once more; but I can't say I look forward to visiting the Birmingham venue.
