I refer you to my earlier statement.
Normal service will be resumed ASAP.
'Normal service' must be a system of continual improvement. The shadowed layout was a mistake and has been corrected. Adding the links as per the main website is intentional. There are still a couple of tweaks to attend to. I seek your patience, but are busy addressing some other issues too...
Providing easy access to all aspects of the online LAA is part of the natural evolution as we inevitably provide more and more services electronically. We are in consultation with the CAA about streamlining and improving services generally. Less paper, less cost, more speed.

I'm with most of the other contributors. If the sidebar is deliberate then sorry it sucks and it's a mistake. On a small screen laptop that needs larger fonts it's likely to render the forum unusable. It's hells own job trying to get people back on here anyway. Let's not make it worse with branding gimmicks.

Thanks for the feedback Peter (G) and good question regarding feedback.
By all means send comments direct to [email protected] (we check it very regularly).
Please give us a few days, since we're busy on Rally matters and the tiered membership changes that are now upon us. It does work, of a fashion, but needs improving.
The forum changes were the result of a well intentioned contractor, but the changes were not approved for release, or sufficiently tested. We'll get on top of it ASAP.

But isn't that the whole point of forums. They don't intrude on important work and can be browsed at leisure when time allows. A phone call, even an email is more intrusive. I would suggest this is the way to do "when you have time" stuff.Peter Gristwood wrote: But rather than have Peter replying to us and wasting his valuable time, isn't there a way of reporting web and BB issues away from the BB?
My son tells me it's called "WEB2"
